There are tons of articles on line more complete than this episode. My advice is that you read a bunch for an hour or so before you ask a lawyer a question--it's really expensive to have an open-ended conversation with a lawyer about any of this. Instead, if you have some specific questions, write them down and submit them to someone who's a specialist. My hunch is that by the time you write down your question, you'll already know the answer. It's mostly about fear of letting go and fear of shipping, not about the intricacies of the law.
